By Richard Drasimaku Vice-President Prof. Gilbert Bukenya has called upon the leaders of West Nile to speed up the implementation of the prosperity for all (Bonna bagagawale) programme. “You must move fast in forming saving and credit cooperatives. West Nile is late in prosperity by five years,” Bukenya said. While addressing district leaders in Arua on Tuesday, Bukenya said Bonna Bagaggawale was based on helping every household to make money every day and developing a savings culture. He said daily income could be got from eggs, milk and fish, while more money could be got from honey and rice after every three months. He said the target is to raise the current savings from 10% to 30%. “Prosperity for all means making money and using it in a logical way to change your way of living through getting rid of low-yielding and low-value crops."
